Please read entire ad before contacting me.

Engine: $4,000 -$6,500
Transmission: $1000 - $1500
Tires: $500 - $1000
Rear Differential: $1,000 - $2,000
Body: $300 - $600 (scrap price)

Time Spent removing interior ( seats, plywood floor, metal ceiling panels, aluminum walls, insulation in walls and ceiling ): 2 Weeks

Time Spent Scuffing floor, removing rust from floor, sealing floor with POR-15: 1 Week

POR - 15 Cost: $150

My intentions for the school bus was to convert it into an RV / Skoolie, however, I've realized I don't really need all the room this bus has to offer, so I decided to purchase a smaller bus to travel with.

It's been partially converted as of now, some people choose to leave the ceiling in it, however, I wanted to do close cell foam insulation so I choose to remove the ceiling panels, because I had every intention of doing this conversion right and not cutting corners.

With all that being said, if you've looked into converting a bus you know getting one that has the interior already removed is a lot of value as it's a lot less work to put into one, I personally spent about 2 weeks gutting this one maybe longer.

As you can also see this bus is a great value, the engine alone is worth what I'm asking for it. There is between $7000 and $12,000 in value and that's before the conversion ever starts.

This drive train combination is rare because it's a T444E with a 5spd manual transmission, yes they are out there, however, they aren't easy to find for sale when I was looking for this one I looked all over the east side of the Mississippi river for about 3-4 months before I found this one.

With that being said:

This is a 1998 International 3800
T444E ( 7.3L Diesel )
Spicer 5 speed manual Transmission
122,000 miles on the engine

It starts and runs great!

I drove it from West Virginia with no problems at all and it averaged about 9-10mpg even coming through the back roads of Kentucky.

Top speed is 65mph

Dimensions:

Bumper to Bumper: 37ft
Interior height in the center: Approx 6 ft 1 inch
Useable living space: approx 25-28 feet (from rear to behind drivers seat)
Inside Width: 7.5ft
Outside Width: 8Ft

So as you can see the work I've put into it so far, and the value of $7,000 to $12,000 the price is a great VALUE!

Come get it before you miss out on this DEAL!

Price: $4,000
